Customizing Reactor Controls and an example

Sometimes a control is more useful to you if tweaked a little. You may want to:
  • change some of the functionality for a particular situation e.g. disallow edits or deletes
  • change the visual appearance in some way e.g. use a different time or date format, put the dateline in a different position, use a different font or color, change the spacing or size.
All of these are accomplished by the use of Overrides. There are JavaScript overrides (functionality and some appearance) and CSS overrides (appearance).
