Since Reactor is a Web Server, there is potential for its access to be blocked, if system settings in Internet Options and Firewalls are too restrictive. This may be the problem if you get an error message that a page cannot be loaded, or if nothing displays in your Web Viewer and you have checked that the syntax is correct.
For Window XP and Vista, open Windows Security Centre (this can be accessed via Internet Explorer or Control Panels). Temporarily turn off the Firewall to test whether it is the problem. If it is, open the Firewall settings. Check that access is not restricted for 127.0.0.1 and localhost.
If you use a Proxy Server, get into Internet Settings/ LAN Settings/ Proxy Settings and ensure 127.0.0.1 and localhost are listed as exceptions, as in the following screenshot.
